I figured I’d share this little tidbit with you. From a sponsor link at a very popular social media website. I have absolutely no idea what “Enterprise Collaboration Implementation” is supposed to mean — maybe if David Meerman Scott (author of the Gobbledeygook Manifesto) were to read this blog, he’d be able to tell us.

Wow. Just… wow.

Hmm, while not being the best possible title, “Enterprise Collaboration Implementation” sounds pretty clear to me. I wouldn’t go as far as calling it the worst whitepaper title ever 🙂

Would you care to offer an alternative title?

Call me crazy, but the word “Implementation” does not deserve a place on the title page of any document, ever. Personal opinion.

As for alternatives, “Six Steps to Successful Enterprise Collaboration” does just fine. How about “Six Steps to Successful Collaboration”? Or “How to Collaborate Successfully,” or “Successful Collaboration in Six Easy Steps.” Any of those would be preferable to repeating the -ation suffix twice.

Call it, “-Ation Implementation Suffocation,” why dontcha?
